Cui Tiankai was China’s Vice Foreign Minister and its longest-serving Ambassador to the United States, spanning the Obama, Trump, and Biden administrations from 2013 to 2021. A career diplomat, he was also appointed Ambassador to Japan, Minister General to the United Nations, and Director General of the Department of Asian Affairs. His extensive experience in foreign affairs has made him a prominent figure in China's international diplomacy, and a key voice in numerous high-level dialogues and negotiations.
